Far reaching views over the rolling countryside make this a wonderful spot for drifting the day away. With Roman steps at the shallow end for easy access and a diving board and great deep end for a more active entry!! There's a safety step all around the pool at a depth of 1m for added security and a fully automatic cover to keep the pool totally safe when not in use. Opening from the living room, this lovely terrace is shaded by a pergola covered with bamboo screening. Tucked away and totally private. In the summer months pots of geraniums and herbs abound. There's a great 'candle' chandelier and lots more candles for really romantic evenings! Opening off the terrace is the boiler room which has an extra shower room with WC. There's a portable barbecue for you to use. A lovely spot for outdoor meals or just relaxing! Perfect spot for relaxing or chatting!
Stunning renovation of this historic building. 8m (25ft) square living reaching high into the vaulted beamed ceiling. Exposed stone walls and underfloor heating make this a fantastic living space, with hand built country kitchen and dining area to one side and cosy lounge area with log burning stove to the other. French doors open onto the shaded terrace and the view of the ancient restored windmill on the hill behind the house - fantastic in summer when framed by sunflower fields! Cosiness is the word for this comfy corner - loads of gentle lighting help to create a lovely cosy spot for cooler evenings. We love really comfy beds! I guess you do too! - so all our beds are especially comfortable with the best quality pillows and duvets and crisp white linen! The Blue Room has a fantastic 6 foot carved wood french bed with padded head and foot boards! Lots of storage plus the fully tiled ensuite shower room. French doors framed by luxurious silk padded curtains open onto a sunny terrace. Mosquito nets cover the bedroom and shower room windows. A fan helps to cool on really hot nights! The Red Room has really comfortable twin beds with luxurious modern padded linen headboards. With matching curtains, this is a really lovely stylish room. There's loads of storage, plus the great ensuite shower room. The double french doors open onto the side terrace. The windows in the ensuite and bedroom both have mosquito netting to help you get a good through draft (helped by a fan) on the hotter nights, without being munched by mossies!
Enjoy fully tiled en-suite shower rooms with heated towel rails to make sure every moment is a pleasure! Both of the gite's bedrooms open out through french doors onto this sunny side terrace. Enjoy the fruits of our orchard! Available for you all season. With 6.5 acres of beautiful secluded landscaped gardens there is space for everyone to join in outdoor games or find quiet spot to relax.

Restored in 2006 with comfort and style in mind. This gite has a real WOW factor - the main living room fills the whole area of the original building the beamed ceiling soars into the apex of the roof, the walls are exposed stone, which are a great backdrop for the 'Jim Lawrence' light fittings. Hand made terracotta tiled floors  plus underfloor heating - making this the best of destinations at any time of year.

Close by is the farmhouse, a second larger rental property which can be rented together with the Bread Oven for larger groups. Adding to the true 'French' feel of the enclave are a large restored traditional colombage and stone barn and a wooden tobacco barn.

The setting is rural, but not isolated. Just a few minutes drive from the nearest village and even closer to a great 9 hole golf course!

Set in large landscaped gardens of 6.5 acres  with rolling lawns for fun and games and plenty of quiet secluded and spots for lazy afternoons!
